MTU is an institution in Houghton, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the 62% of the undergraduate students are enrolled in the College of Engineering school and 21% are enrolled in the College of Science and Arts, the School of Business and Economics, School of Technology, and the School of Forestry and Wood Products round out the rest of the student body. The number of Women at Michigan Tech is slim however.
The graph on the right shows, the percentage of
women faculty at Michigan Tech is going up. However, over the past 5 years the percentage
of undergraduate female students has remained about the same:
between 25-26%. The PCW and other
groups at MTU are working to raise this number.
